Business Plan Development & Execution

A business plan is a written document describing the nature of the business, the sales and marketing strategy, the financial background, and contains a projected profit and loss statement.  A business plan is an essential road map to a business’ success; it’s a document that tells what you plan to do and how you plan to do it.  We, here at the Collective, will not only assist you with writing your business plan, but we will provide you with the guidance to successfully execute your plan and launch your business.  We provide you with the tools you need to make your business sustainable.

Contracts & Proposal Management

Acquisition and Contract Management is the process of procuring the resources and materials necessary for a company to successfully do business.  This requires the ability to negotiate the terms of contracts associated with the purchase of resources as well as the acquisition of resources.  The Gibson Collective will:

  • Assure compliance with local, state and federal government laws and regulations

  • Analyze customer requests for proposals (RFP's)

  • Draft proposal responses to "RFP's"

Grant Writing & Non-Profit Management

Grant writing refers to the practice of completing an application process for funding provided to an institution from public and private sources.  A grant proposal normally requests funding to support activities that are consistent with the mission of a non-profit agency or institution.  Successful grant writing requires a clear understanding of grantsmanship.  The Collective understands the creative process of grant proposal writing.  Our associates know that it is important to know the target audience and to tune the language of your proposal accordingly.  We will write a proposal for you that will be pleasing to potential donors.  In additional to grant writing, we also provide the following non-profit management services:

Mediation Services

The Gibson Collective provides effective, collaborative and innovative mediation and dispute resolution services, so that organizations and individuals can deal with conflicts constructively.  Our goal is to help organizations improve their relationships and strengthen their internal communication, resulting in a peaceful and functional environment.  The Gibson Collective has expertise in a full array of alternative dispute resolution services including facilitating mediation sessions, organizational development, drafting and implementing policies and procedures for handling internal disputes and designing systems for resolving disputes.

Real Estate Services

Real estate consultants and realtors play very different roles in the real estate market.  Both roles require real estate licensure and often times, their duties and responsibilities may overlap.  A real estate consultant usually advises clients on building or investment actives in the market while a realtor helps clients buy and sell properties.  As real estate consultants, we assist with research and provide analysis and advisory services to clients such as construction developers, investment banks, mortgage lenders, and builders.

 

As realtors, we help sellers list their properties for sale and we work with buyers who are looking to residential property or commercial buildings.  We also have extensive experience with negotiating commercial leases. Our firm's president holds designations as a Commercial Real Estate Professional (CREP) and a Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), and a host of other real estate certifications and designations, which sets him apart in the real estate profession.  Our firm will research properties that meet the parameters set forth by the client, show the client the properties, provide insight and recommendations on property pricing, help negotiate and facilitate the preparation and presentation of all offers and counteroffers and will successfully manage the transaction through settlement.

Business Brokerage

Business brokers facilitate the sale of small to medium size privately held businesses. A business broker works with both business buyers and sellers. There are important differences, but in some respects business brokers operate similarly to real estate agents; however their practice is geared specifically towards business entities. The sale, purchase, financing and licensing of a business can be a challenging endeavor; it can be emotional, frustrating and time consuming. The Gibson Collective is well equipped to assist our clients in reaching their goals of a successful sale transaction.
