Dr. Darren Gibson

Darren Gibson is the founder and CEO of The Gibson Collective, LLC.  Darren brings to the table over 18 years of corporate experience.  Darren has worked in many different industries and as such as gained a wide range of knowledge and expertise.  As a senior leader, Darren has had the opportunity to lead and mentor teams to ensure consistent achievement of organizational goals and objectives.  As a training executive, Darren has designed and implemented training programs to all levels of company staff.  He is also a member of the teaching faculty at Northern Virginia Community College and the School of Business and Graduate Studies at The Trinity Washington University.  As a faculty member, he has taught courses in business law, business management, entrepreneurship, finance, and leadership.

 

Darren holds a doctorate degree in Organizational Leadership and Development from Argosy University’s Graduate School of Business and Management.  He also holds a master's in Law degree from Regent University Law School, a M.B.A. with a concentration in Management and a bachelor’s of business administration degree with a minor in Law and Government Affairs.  A few of his certifications and designations include Six Sigma/Project Management, Certified Paralegal/ Legal Assistant, Certified Mediator/ Alternative Dispute Resolution, Accredited Business Intermediary and Grant Writing.

Maurice Foley

Human Resources

Maurice Foley joined the Gibson Collective to head our Human Capital division.  Maurice brings with him almost 20 years of corporate experience.  He has served in several human resource capacities and most recently he has held the role of employer support specialist for a major retirement fund portfolio management company.  As an officer of the Gibson Collective, Maurice is heavily involved with company operations.  Maurice assists with tactical strategies, business development and client management. He is an invaluable resource to “The Collective.” 

 

Maurice holds a master’s degree in Management with a concentration in Human Resource Management and a bachelor’s degree in Communications.  He is also a member of the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM) and is current pursuing his Professional in Human Resources (PHR) designation. 

Dr. Mark Brathwaite
Director of Research and Proposal Writing

Mark Brathwaite comes to the Gibson Collective from the education sector. Mark brings with him 10+ years of teaching, training and research experience. As an educator, he has taught in both the secondary and collegiate environments. As a trainer, he assists our human resource management division with creating, designing and facilitating training courses for our clients. As a researcher, he spearheaded several grant proposals and research projects for various colleges, most notably Morehouse College. As a technical writer, Mark works extensively with the Collective’s non-profit clients to write and develop award winning grant proposals.

 

Mark earned his doctorate of Organizational Management and Leadership from the Graduate School of Business and Management at Argosy University. Mark also holds an M.B.A. with a concentration in Healthcare Management and a bachelor’s degree in English Literature.

Dr. Terrell D. Russell
Vice President of Marketing and Branding

Terrell Russell is at the heart of new business development and retention for “The Collective” in the south east region.  Terrell Russell is an ambitious young professional with a background in sales, military leadership, and college admissions.  He has a strong history of consistently exceeding monthly and yearly sales objectives and believes in a team player approach to building relationships, developing accounts and achieving sales goals.  Early on, Terrell developed his tenacity and determination selling Kirby vacuum cleaners door-to-door for 4 years. Furthermore, after researching consumer buying habits and analyzing Kirby’s advertising methods he was able to hone in on his passion for marketing.

 

Terrell is dedicated to his country, family, and profession. While in the United States Air Force and proudly serving two Iraqi deployments, he earned his Associate’s degree in Transportation Logistics, a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations and Master of Business Administration from Ashford University. He earned his Doctorate of Business Administration degree with an emphasis in Marketing at the Graduate School of Business and Management at Argosy University.
